The Third International Conference on Powder Metallurgy was held in Sinaia, Romania, the pearl of Carpathian mountains, from 6 to 9 July 2005. It has been organised by the Romanian Society of Powder Metallurgy, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, in collaboration with Vienna University of Technology, Institute of Materials Research of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, National Institute for Research and Development in Electrical Engineering INCDI ICPE-CA and National Programme for Research, Development and Innovation”MATNANTECH”, under the auspices of European Powder Metallurgy Association, Ministry of Education and Research and Academy of Technical Sciences in Romania.<\/p>\n
